Motiledge products consist of several core product lines that enable our customers to gain maximum benefit from this powerful integrated motile technology architecture.   These components are constructed using proven Internet technologies to provide a secure and scalable solution for deploying mobile computing platforms.  The main components are the Motiledge “edge” products and the Motiledge Enterprise Portal^TM.  

The Edge

“The edge” solution product line is comprised of a mobile computing device and associated software application and a local site server application - (Motiledge client application, Motiledge site server).

The “edge” product line is used to enable mobile workers with the tools to perform their tasks with up-to-date information and make the results of these activities available to all interested parties through automated reporting and via access through the enterprise portal.

Client applications

The motiledge client application is a device resident software module that interacts with a server component to drive the point of activity application on the device.  The hand-held application is comprised of core database and file management, checklist processing, event/alert handling and other utilities.  The application itself is data driven from configurations that are downloaded from the enterprise or site server databases.  The ‘edge’ products of the offering is motile inspect^TM.  

Site Servers

The motiledge site server is the control, data collection and distribution point for the mobile application process and application.  This server can be a permanent or portable component depending on the mobile worker and equipment location.  The site server contains many services that are required to implement the functionality of motile inspect solution.

The motiledge site server provides the services required to gather and store accurate inspection and asset data through automated data collection performed by the motiledge client application.

The Motiledge Enterprise Portal is the nucleus of the Motiledge solution offering and delivers a core set of enterprise level services for all of the ‘edge’ product solutions - access to customers/subscribers of inspection, maintenance and equipment data, complete on-line support and download /upgrade capabilities, and easy to follow solution documentation.
